Just came across these two sets of autographs at Strouds Auctions in the UK.  One set appears to be by Neil Aspinall and the other is seriously bad. And other thoughts?

I agree about both of these.

The photo is Aspinall's...the other one is pathetic...

Interestingly, many old timer's (original 60's fans) continue to be duped by Neil's signatures, especially early Beatlemania contest winners (who received official letters from radio stations & fan clubs, among others, announcing they'd won a 'signed photo' or other similar item(s)). And why not?!?! Back in the day, unless it was faux-printed (posters, gum cards, etc's) these folks would swear on a stack of bibles their autographed Beatles item was genuine, with the official envelope to prove it.

The bottom line is - buyer beware.

So true !!! I’d still have a vast Neil Aspinall collection if it wasn’t for the experts on this forum.

The fan club card was obtained by Andreas Malandrinos (actor in the films Hard Day's Night and Help!). Of course it doesn’t say he saw the Beatles sign the card he obtained it.  This will be enough for some poor fan to fork out their hard earned cash thinking they just bought a great item!!!
