Hi Everyone,

I am new to the site and not a collector.

My sister has a piece of card with George Harrison and Ringo Starr autographs on that she personally obtained circa 1963 in Stoke-on-Trent, England where the Beatles were touring.

I am looking to sell it for her but have only been able to obtain one quote from a dealer in the UK.

Does anyone have any idea what this is worth ? I could try eBay, but would be good to have a 'ballpark' figure to work with.

Thanks for any advice

Yes, those look very nice.  List them on Ebay if you are serious about selling them.  I would be interested in bidding.

Thanks Martin.

Yes, thats an option for sure.

When I get the letter of authenticity from my sister will be selling then, so I guess in about a month.

Thanks Michelle. I have asked my sister to send me a letter (I live in Cyprus and she in the UK) with those details that you mention. It was outside the venue where the Beatles were playing. I have a COA sticker etc.

Thanks Mr Risin for your offer. I am not in a position to sell anyway at the minute as I am waiting for the letter of authenticity from my sister. I live in Cyprus and she is in the UK, so we are talking a minimum of 3 weeks before I receive it.

Hi.

Are you still interested ?

I am about to sell the autographs.

Rgds

Martin.

Good Morning.

Did you see my reply to you ?

I am about to sell them. I have an offer go GBP 1000, if you want to bid for them.

Plse advise by return

Nice...

Beautiful. Excellent signatures.

Your sister has two gems on one page here, wonderfully genuine and with great contrast.

You might share with her not to be shy about insisting on an asking price.

If she auctions it, the starting price should be firm, too (as it will probably exceed any current value).

Good luck and thanks for sharing!

Thanks Jim. Good to know.

Its been suggested I auction them, but to be honest I don't know where to look, may have to do my homework on this !

Its been suggested I auction them, but have to be aware of the auction house commission. I guess I put a decent reserve on them.

Very nice signatures !!!  A dealer will only offer you an amount quite a bit lower than the actual value as they still have to sell it and make some money on that sale. Best to sell it privately if you can so you don’t pay any fees etc.  Value wise I would estimate in the range of £900 to £1000. The contrast is very good and the signatures are well formed for the time period. Beatles is written in another hand but won’t detract from the value IMO.  You might try and sell it on this site if that option is available as you will most likely get a fair offer here.

Thanks for your reply, much appreciated.

I will keep in mind what you suggest. Waiting for a letter of authenticity from my sister as to where and when (if she can remember 1963 !)..

I am of the opinion that George has written Beatles.
