Right, they look freshly printed. These could have been done by laser ink transfer paper.

Also noted the last example from Terrier has one ink color - the others have 2.

Is it my eyes or is the length of the vertical in the "g" in "Ringo" shorter here (Terrier's) than in the OP? Initial measurements against themselves suggest it might well be.
