The Paul looks authentic to me and he wrote “Beatles”. I think he also signed for John. It looks like Neil Aspinall signed for George and Ringo.

agreed, paul defo original

On second thought. I think Neil rather than Paul signed for John.

I agree with your views on this set.

The auction house states.

The vendor obtained the Beatles autographs in person at the stage door of the Odeon Cinema, Weston Super Mare in 1963.

Yikes. Obtaining Paul’s autograph in person turned into all four in person.

Paul genuine, the others are not.

The description of the lot is a little bit confusing as it does state the vendor obtained the autographs at the stage door but also states '[Beatles] Autograph album containing signatures of The Beatles (John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr) in the hand of Paul McCartney dated by the recipient July 1963'

I asked them to clarify and they replied:

'The vendor advised us when they consigned them that they obtained the autographs at the stagedoor.

But looking at the autographs they are signed in McCartney’s hand rather than by each individual member.'

I don’t think they’re correct on that. I believe that Paul signed and then Neil finished the set.
