Well they are coming fast and furious and so far the track record is not good.  This Please Please Me Lp has the signatures of John, Paul and George in what appears to be fountain pen ink?  The Lp cover has suffered some significant water damage and the signatures have faded ?  Can’t get a real good look at the ink lay down and that is only part of the problem. The signatures themselves have pluses and minuses and I’m not sure although George looks a bit like a Neil Aspinall signature. Any other thoughts?

Something tells me to be wary of a stamp. Aside from that, they looks alright.

Very good point re the stamp possibility. J hadn’t thought of that.  Would anyone have any exemplars of stamped signatures that are similar/the same as these signatures?

Well after a better look they appear not to be stamped signatures and to me not obvious forgeries.  George does look a bit like Neil but not convincingly so. I’m leaning toward authentic.

No thanks.....next!!!

To my untrained eyes, George looks also a bit like a Neil Aspinall signature.

I don't think I like this.

It sure looks that way. Great catch!

Very interesting - definitely the same form.  Do you know what the original signatures were on or in ?

I think it’s funny but the signatures on the Lp look more genuine than the ones you posted. Must be the contrast that makes appear to be a photocopy or something if that nature.

Thank you for the information very helpful.  Just  curious how do these forgers go about tracing the signatures onto another item.  Or is this done with a type of copy machine that projects the image to be copied onto the target item and they trace over the projection?
