Becketts says unlikely to authenticate fully, where did Beatles autographs come from?

Hi!

While cleaning out an aunt’s home, we found the following autographs in a trunk in the basement. Becketts says unlikely to fully authenticate. We believe their quick review. Just wanted to know if the signatures were from a fan club or gotten elsewhere. The aunt would have been a teenager in the mid 60s and was a fan of The Beatles.

Any info on their origins is appreciated.

Looks like your Aunt, or perhaps another fan, having fun attempting to write out their autographs

Agreed. They don’t look like they’re from the Fan Club or any of the secretarial signers.

Ha! ha! Seems possible. It must have been someone who didn’t know her though. They spelled her name wrong…Marylu not Mary Lou.

Could it have been some fraud signature, she paid for?  We found it in an old trunk kept in the basement. She passed away recently, and the family is cleaning the house out to sell. No one knows the story of the signatures, but she spoke of being a fan many times.

Girls named Mary Lou sometimes used Marylu as a "hip" name back then. If she did, you'll see it in notes by friends in her yearbooks.
