I'm looking for recommendations on silver marker/pen to use other than silver Sharpie, or ones that are paint pens requiring shaking. I've had terrible luck with silver sharpies.

The newer gold and silver Markers that Bic sells are actually pretty good. Much better than their Sharpie counterparts.
I think that the underlying surface has a lot to do with the appearance.
That’s a good point, Eric. I hadn’t really thought about it that way, but I bet you’re right. Thanks for the input.
regarding the ball, I’m not sure...but you would be wise to protect that more. It’s a valuable ball if Upper Deck.
Yes, it is Upper Deck. My overall experience with silver paint pens has been very positive. They normally seem to resist fading and many look nearly brand new 20+ years later.
No fading and they hold up well? Thanks for the help.
I'll show a recent one when I get home. Honestly, the markers are a bit newer I believe (and the autographs I've gotten with them only few month old), but i did test them few times and they seemed to be fairly durable.
