I noticed a previous discussion post on this website about Autographs America, one of the biggest autograph forgers on the Internet. I want to warn everyone that they have shut down and reopened as Autographs Network. With all the complaints about them on this website, along with hundreds of other online complaints, they are trying to hide their reputation from future buyers/victims with a new name. Now when a buyer looks them up, they will look legit. If you have been scammed by this company, please spread the word! Update your old posts with their new name.

Hello,

I got scammed yesterday by autographnetwork.com

Should have known its too good to be true. I never buy from Russia or Malaysia or China because of the high risk of fraud.

This was a seller from America in an American state with phone number and Advertisements on Ebay.com

I reached that corrupt man's website through an ad on ebay.com

Lost about US $ 431.

Well you live you learn. I am very grateful to have found this website and community of autograph seekers.

I am in Mumbai, India so don't really hope to recover anything from Mr. Cristopher Franklin.

Dear Dey, you are not the first and unfortunately last one who got ripped off by scambags. This is what I suggest you to do: turn over this page in you collector's experience and thank God  that you lost just this amount of money, could be worse. Try contact the seller, eBay, PayPal and recover at least part of your money. Leave as much as possible feedback on the eBay to warn other buyers. And now it's time to learn how to avoid the forgeries. Get familiar with AFTAL,, UACC web sites. You'll find a tons of useful information. Next time, before you buy anything ask seller: why he is not a REGISTERED UACC - AFTAL dealer? Also, I would highly recommend www.garryking.co.uk of Garry King and www.brandesautographs.com of Markus Brandes,  they are leaders of the collectors community with solid reputation. read their articles, particulary Markus Brandes . You'll obtain a basic knowledge how to avoid fakes and crooks.  And remember, you can always ask Steve Cyrkin who is a great expert himself and I'm sure will be happy to help you. Until then I would advise you not to buy any more autographs no matter how badly you want it.

Hi,

Just an update.

For quite a few days the website http://www.autographsnetwork.com

is down and not loading even through proxy ip.

Does anyone know if they guy/s finally got arrested or charged for fraud ?

Is there any local news about this website attracting attention from law enforcement.

My Bank had taken it up with that website's Visa card processing agency at strict levels.
