IMO not authentic, he signed 4 times in one night for us and although all the signatures looked different the L in joel were all the same, as in this picture for comparison...

That ticket stub autograph is terrible I would question that one. The ones I got in person two years ago look similar to the one on the album above but yes I would question 50 Billy Joels I tried again a month ago when he came back and had no luck he never came out and signed for those waiting and his manager ran interference so yes 50 is very questionable.

Hi Josef,

This Joel has multiple characteristics of an authentic Joel, however the problem is that the seller offering this item on eBay has now sold 50+ Billy Joel autographs and, as you can see, they all appear to look very similar in style to this one.

Billy's actual signature varies a lot from one to another, and it would be EXTREMELY unlikely for any 1 person to have 50+ Joel signatures that all appear very similar to each other like this seller's do.

Also note that this seller's history of 50+ previous Joel sales were sold in the range of only $35-$80 per autograph, while Joel's true value is significantly higher.

My suggestion would be to avoid this one and find a seller with a strong reputation within the autograph community.

That L is weird like Matthew says and with the expert investigating by MR. Steffman. No good.

Thanks for your opinions guys, good to save Money !!!!

being from nyc a local we would see billy alot and he would always sign tons. so getting alot from him was nt a problem,he did posters albums ,tambourins , guitars ,u name it.

so some one haveing a lot off billy sigs wouldnt be a red flag too me.

his b and j's are basically close to being the same , the rest does vary  deppending on crowd , drunk, rushed or were or when he signes

My flag on thst was specifically due to all 50 being extremely similar looking to each other, and also the giveaway price as well. Otherwise I totally agree with you -- a seller having 20+ Joel isn't outrageous.

Billy is one of the all-time top signers. :)

i agree on the price.i assume hes 150 too 200 on cds albums.

ive sold signed guitars in the 600 plus range

If this was Sportsnmore, his 13 dollar Burton Cummings LP that he sold was no good.

From the great Raacer Mike Sig.
