Billy Joel signature?

Can anyone please tell me if this is fake? I bought this for an Xmas gift and I want to be sure it’s real.

I don’t know… how much should I expect to spend for a real one in reasonably good quality? I suppose it doesn’t have to be on “The Stranger” but on some album.

You need to know. Check closed auction of certified examples. Start a file. The variables to note are what is signed, when it signed, where it was signed, with what and how nicely (or not) and then of course condition and eye appeal.
