I have studied these sigs myself and compared them and zoomed in over 1000 times,i had it quick opinioned twice by ama authentication ,im sure this is 100 percent genuine, some people might get fooled because geezer wrote peace and love and bill ward signed his full name, not his usual sketch. This is a early 70s example.

Whats your opinion,do you agree with me,do you think its genuine?itlooks very good

Maybe someone can help, roger epperson,steve,you...help needed on these

Best to speak for yourself rather than representing others, no?

Great example of mid-70's Black Sabbath, no worries there!!

Bill didn't transform his signature into a full blown symbol w/cross & drum until early 90's. I know & even during the late 80's it resembled B__l W___l I have known Bill & collected Black Sabbath Many years,I have a few examples of this periiod though not many. enjoy this awesome piece!

Richard,

you must be tripping, I have 2 copies of the first LP and one from "we sold our souls" that do not not agree with your findings.  On the first album in both cases from different sources Bill only signed "B Ward" with a cross.  The "a" in Ward is the largest letter of the whole signature.  Tony used upper cased "s" in all of his inscriptions not lower case.  there are many more things I could argue but I will stop with that.

Roger, no don't trip much, but I will tell you this, I could care less what you think of my finding's I have worked for sabbath, & have known band members personally for over 25 years (Including Bill Ward) if you follow the link to my photo's here on am.com is the inside of the latest Martin Popoff book,"Black Sabbath F.A.Q." I purchased while in L.A. in June in Hollywood@ Ameoba Records, I met Bill Ward for lunch that week, & had him sign it while there, wasn't planning a visit w/Bill but won't refuse the opprotunity either, thus didn't have alot of "autograph" friendly items, just happened to buy the book beforehand. This is the latest autograph I have from a sabbath member & I seen him sign it w/my own 2 eyes,I have nearly 25 years of correspondence w/Bill & have seen his signature evolve into what you see on my book. so regardless of what you think of "my findings" I signed up on this page to offer help w/a few bands that I seriously harcore collect, Black Sabbath being #1 ( I hate seeing people profit from fakes) I have been collecting .jpg's of fakes on ebay for years as well, & when sellers change their i.d. & still use the same template guess what I know them. I usually don't participate in guessing games as 95% of my signatures from sabbath were signed in front of me, that being said, nothing is certain unless you watched it get signed, I'm not the be all end all, but I am pretty damn good @ spotting the real sab's & IN MY OPINION this is a keeper.

Darren,

I didn't remove the comment you're talking about. I haven't been following this discussion much recently, but if Thulsadoom bashed Epperson he's likely not Mike Cirelli. I think Mike's a customer of his.

Mike, keep it clean please. Thanks.
