Hi everyone - I'm a first time poster so I apologize in advance if this has been covered... Just wanted to get thoughts on how important signature quality is to you, and how you expect it impacts value. I have the opportunity to purchase a signed harmonica by Bob Dylan at a respectable (but high) price. I would never sell if purchased, but given the cost wasn't sure if I'm being way too picky since i've come across others at higher prices. FWIW - this is one of the single-signed harmonicas issued directly from Hohner. Thanks in advance!

These were limited to only 100 -- but be sure it comes with the COA from Hohner.  I've seen them go for as low as $2600 on up.

Not sure what you are asking about signature quality though.

This sig is alot neater than many I've seen.

Hi Bruce - very helpful. Truth be told i'm probably just being too picky from other examples i've seen on the Hohner harps. Curious though - the harmonicas for ~$2,600+, were they the versions released directly through Hohner? Haven't seen these offered below the $5,000 retail price. The last one I've seen was ~$6,500

That''s a unique item, someone had a great idea

The one that sold for 2600 a few years ago did come with the COA from Hohner but wasn't purchased directly from them. I think it was donated to them so they didn't take a loss on it.

They don't come up for sale too often as there were only 100 made.  Here is another:
