Does anyone expect Bob Dylan's signature to soar any higher in the future, than it already is, esp when Dylan gives up the ghost?

Currently the prices for Dylan signatures are 2 thousand and up around the 5 thousand range, depending on currency.

The forgers will have a field day when he is gone and the tpa's have a difficult time as it is with his signature.

I believe the 60's signed Dylan pieces will be sought after down the track.

What's people thoughts on Dylan' s autographs? Boom or bust?

I would say the minimum starts between $500-$750, depending on the condition.

For a piece of paper signed, sure.
I would imagine it will go higher Paul. Especially vintage signed items.

Id like to think that the vintage Dylan sigs will punch higher esp with some kind of provenance!

Agreed on the sixties stuff but there are other time frames where he was prolific IE 70s the if course there are his lefties a time when he only signed left handed these are very desirable !!
And of course it's content IE dated items ! Also the strength of the signature again not rushed I have one where he took his time and did not do a squiggle

been thinking about this too. When many people pass away, their estate is divided among family and individually there might not be much cash so estate sales with many great signed things are going to increase. This has and will happen for many artists whose fame is bigger than their fortune.

Dylan's estate will be wealthy enough to avoid this if they wish. But then Dylan himself did some things that were odd for him,  like a deal with Hohner to sell signed harmonicas. he probably didn't need the pocket change it is to him. And then he himself sold lyrics to Like A Rolling Stone, and a few other of songs considered his best. Most artist would not  sell their best.

Is he going to flood the market? Then he sold his written stuff estate (I don't know whether all or a portion) for $20 million cash and $60 million in tax benefits to a museum.

So he could flood the market maybe, or nothing more could come from his estate for 100 years.

Dylan is as enigmatic in his signing as he is in all other aspects of his life.

Well he is systematically flooding the market with his signature on the drawn blanks
Why???? Maybe he was pissed with people selling his autograph in eBay for very big bucks ! So he thinks if I sign enough drawn blanks at least I get the dough for my signature

interesting thought. One thing that will likely not happen again is up to maybe 1967 he would sign albums for people and add a few lyrics from different songs. Sometimes whole stanzas.

Yes I agree Paul !! Buy it was a clever move flooding the market hey??
If he didn't do that his fan signatures would be worth a bundle !! He's a cute guy alright

forgot about this. how many were made?

Thousands look it up you be surprised

An blank porfolio is up for sale not, minimum bid $45000 at paddle 8
