Just spotted this (Bloomsbury auctions 2 Sept). It made my eyebrows rise. I know there are some keen Lee fans on this forum so I thought I'd share it.

Way out of my league but is the estimate realistic? Seems massive - and a very tight range too.

Photo attached. Here's the blurb:

LEE, BRUCE - A 'Praying Mantis style' Kung Fu book containing annotations A 'Praying Mantis style' Kung Fu book containing annotations, diagrams and graphs in Bruce Lee's hand, including an instruction reading: "Right hand block; left go over right and right pulls back immediately and punch out or back fist after swing", stamp of Lee's address: 'Mr. Bruce Lee, 112 Jefferson Street, Seattle, Washington', 8vo, c. early 1960s This fascinating pamphlet was given to Lee's friend and assistant instructor Taky Kimura. Lee moved back to the United States from Hong Kong in 1959 and settled in Seattle. It was here that he began to teach martial arts, naming his style Jun Fan Gung Fu (which translates as 'Bruce Lee's Kung Fu'). Kimura continued to teach his artform after Lee's death. Bruce Lee is widely regarded as the most influential martial artist of the twentieth century and is a worldwide cultural icon, almost synonymous with Kung Fu itself. Signed material by him is exceptionally rare and this unique book provides an unprecedented insight into his creative process and philosophy.

Estimate £50,000-£55,000.

That does seem like a high estimate--they're usually more conservative. But Bruce Lee material is scarce and highly desirable. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if the reserve was £25,000-£30,000.
