Yup, actually four Ebay User Names with the recent Kurt Cobain listing and all end in "0" and have identical listing descriptions. Here are the User IDs: elproo_0, ricfree-0, kylvoll0, keblou_0
All four listings will not allow you to contact the seller directly with a question...
The seller(s) will not allow you to return the item....
Hmmmmmm......
Who wants to contact eBay ??
Just want to bring you all up-to-date....
I've just contacted eBay with a complaint...
They give you about two sentences and about 40 characters in total to tell them what's wrong so I listed this creeps eBay seller names and told them it was all the same guy....
They've got the information...let's see what happens...
Glad you took the initiative. Hope they remove his listings and suspend him before someone gets stroked. I've noticed calling them over the phone yields better results.
I'm not in the U.S. Gio so I took the send-a-message route...
I've used it before and it has worked for me...
Time will tell...
If a person could not see ALL the warning signs of this listing then they get what they asked for. Zero feedback. No return policy. And with Ebay's buyer protection guarantee, I hope they end up paying as well.
In the meantime...
There IS a way to contact this A-hole directly....
You can use the Buy-It-Now feature on his auctions...
I did that....I wrote in "10 cents" as my offer ...and then there is a place for a brief message...
I blasted this guy and told him I was going to report him to eBay...but the fact that I am not in the U.S. meant that the message could not be sent because he doesn't ship outside the U.S.
If anyone wants to make direct contact with him you CAN do so through eBay and the buy-it-now...just write..... 5 cents..... as your offer and then blast away...
I do not believe that contacting the seller directly will matter one bit. If someone is so bold as to list these items as they have then they will care less what anyone thinks. Whoever listed these items knows the system and is well versed on ebay policies. Only ebay can hammer them by removing these listings. Then, of course, they will get new ebay ids and do the same again. The wheels on the bus goes round and round.
Don, ingenious way to get the point across to this guy. I will try it as well.
Good luck with that Gio...ingenious???? lol.....but it works...
These guys should be hounded and made aware that their little plan has been found out...
And Joe W. your comments about the buyers...."get what they deserve"...."contacting the seller won't matter one bit"... disappoint me and I suspect disappoint Gio too.
We'll let you know how we make out o.k. ??
Will you at least show us a smidge of good will and wish us good luck ???
Thanks...
