I have just come across these two items that I am potentially interested in. The first is a signed Ashbury Park CD by The Big Man, Springsteen, Garry Tallent, and I can't quite make out who it is in the top left. I have seen Springsteen sign in this style before and I assume it his older style autograph but I can't quite determine if you believe it is authentic. The second autograph I have questions over its authenticity too. If anyone could provide some insight that would be greatly appreciated as the auctions end in 2 days time. I have been looking at Bruce for some time now but am still not able to determine authenticity accurately enough to buy.

Both are total fakes.   Regarding the Asbury Park CD - the forger was trying to copy Bruce's 1970's signature style -- many years before the CD was even invented!  Never underestimate the stupidity of forgers.

I did question the fact it was on a CD and in gold as well but wanted to check. Is there anything in paricular to look for when looking for a Bruce signature? Just don't want to keep having to check with people on here. Lots of the forgeries are fairly good, so just want to see what you'd suggest I keep an eye out for.

I would suggest buying ones certified by PSA, JSA, Beckett, or Roger Epperson.

Very fake

Jasper, if you are interested, I have a Born in the USA album signed by Springsteen available.  Let me know.
