Hello to all,

Back in 2012 I received the Stones Brussels Affair box set as a gift which is signed by Jagger and Taylor.

I always had my doubts about signed limited edition copies in the thousands which come from very famous artists like the Stones. Do you think these copies are indeed signed by the artists themselves or are they secretarial. It may sound stupid but I cant think of Jagger or Taylor signing 1973 copies for this ? Same as the Taschen signed book (Limited edition of 1150 copies) that was released a couple of years ago. What do you think ?

Here is my copy :

I do believe that Mick signed these books.

I also think it is real.I also own the same set,It also came with this signed poster. It took forever to recieve. At least 10 months after the box set made it to my house.

Morrison 123 ,if you can remember that the only reason we both got the Mick Taylor signed Dancing with mr d is because of the long delay for the poster. They actually sent an email to everyone that ordered this certain version saying that because of such a long delay for Mick to sigh the poster,we have sent u this signed 45 free of charge.

well Paul I havent checked if my poster is signed too, did all the sets come with a signed poster or only to those who pre ordered ? I got this as a gift so I dont know if it was delayed.  Iirc I received this in oct 12.

pre ordering didn't get u the signed poster. There was 3 versions that u had to chose from.the version that had the signed poster i believe was called the artist edition.Only a very limited number of the 1973 posters were signed commemorating the year.like i said it took forever to get it.I called them numerous times and all they kept saying is were sorry but Mick will sign them when he is ready to sign them, check your poster.Hopefully its signed.

I guess that these were indeed hand signed by both Micks. if they were secretarial then they would have everything ready for release date. another clue is that these were advertised on the official store too. it would be very bad publicity for the stones if they turn out to be secretarial (I am 100% that these are not autopens)

I checked unfortunately its not signed

I remember the first 173 sets were of the edition thathad the signed poster .your edition was 695.it was of another edition that only gave you a signed book.if you look down at the boom right cornr of my poster pic...u will see it says 154/1973.my edition was 154.

Paul you are 100% correct here.

Also remember with the Stones editions is that just because the edition is 1973 is that doesnt mean thats how many were signed.

that’s the number of books or lithographs. The number signed can be lower than the edition of items.

Anyone got a spare boxset or poster alone? I'm looking to buy one.

I have a poster signed by Mick that I was able to add Keith to.

It wouldn't be cheap, but I would sell it at the right offer. Maybe $2500? You'd rather have that than a box set that everybody else has.

I do have a spare watch from that set as well.

I also do have the Mick Taylor signed 45. I would let that go for $150.

Hi Xwiesy, I see I'm 2+ years lat to this thread, but do you still have the Mick Taylor signed Brussels Affair 45 and are you still interested in selling it?  I am a Stones collector.  Please let me know. Thanks, Richard
