Authentic, IMO.

Joe W., Thanks for the look.

Looks good, David.  I'm thinking it may be from the 70's or 80's by the look of the  "B".  Most don't realize that Burt is somewhat uncommon in authentic form.

Etienne, Thanks for the look….It has the correct look, shape and slant that only an in person 3x5 can supply….Not going to get that thru the mail…Still waiting 6 weeks for that LOA on that Newman 8x10…..hopefully in this lifetime……Spent almost $500 on eight items…watched the authenticators put the stickers on the letters at the event, and still crickets…..

Yep, you definitely have a nice Burt signature there.

Burt Lancaster is a legend. I've enjoyed so many of his films over my lifetime. But the role that comes to my mind whenever I see his autograph was his last role. As Dr. Archibald "Moonlight" Graham in Field of Dreams. What a great movie!

My father was the Treasurer of the Central Bank in Costa Rica. As such, he had to travel a lot to deal with printing companies which wanted to do business with the Bank and get contracts for printing money. In 1989 he was sent to American Bank Note Company and was travelling First Class for his first time. Pan Am flight. He was happy travelling in such a fashion, and suddenly he glances about three rows to his left, and Mr. Lancaster is there. My dad does not speak good english, so he managed to arrange a note and have the flight attendant send it to him. Mr. Lancaster turns around, sees my dad, and he smiles, signs, and turns to him, smiles again and gives him a thumbs up and a joint hands sign. My dad was so elated by that brief contact he still remembers it at 79 years old. Anyway, here is the result. Hope you can see the image, not sure how to make it appear as an image here, but hope it leads you to it.

Thank you for sharing this.  Great story....and a great authentic autograph!

Thank you very much. I saved this autograph and showed it to my dad, today. He was very happy and the memories just came back, he had a great day.

100% authentic! I have dealt with a few Burt items in my career. Burt had at one time an assistant that signed just like him but this one is good.
