Can I get some opinions on this Anthony Hopkins signed photo please? Thanks in advance! I'm new to this site and this is my first post.

No I haven't. But I'll check it out!

Watching The Addiction right now. A Russell Simmons hip hop black & white vampire film......lol. I don't know how I never heard of this!

Wait till you meet Peina! He makes a perfect analog to the book Junkie for Kathleen. And there is a bit of Michael Imperioli as a priest and also Edie Falco. Enjoy! Great ending too.

Thanks for posting those Lee and Cushing signed photos.  They are wonderful!  I'm especially loving that Cushing from BRIDES OF DRACULA!  It's a fun film....even despite David Peel's ridiculously camp wig!

A few years back I lucked onto a signed copy of Peter Cushing's Past Forgetting: Memoirs of the Hammer Years.  It's the first British edition and is uninscribed (rather rare for him) and in a nice black fountain pen:

very nice........I have this book that was dedicated to Yvonne Monlaur, his co-star in Brides of Dracula

Hey Robbie -

That's the first volume of his memoirs in the British editions.  The Hammer Years is the second.

I actually recall seeing the one you have for sale at some point or another.  It's a tremendous association and I'm so happy to see it went to a good home!

That is fountain (Robby's).

Lucky! That doesn't look like fountain but perhaps the book paper....

I have found that a good resource for comparing celebrity signatures are legal documents and contracts that they have signed.  It's not aways foolproof as sometimes secretaries or business managers have signed those as well depending on the celebrity.

Here are two contracts that do look to be signed by Hopkins.

The first was signed in 1975 (with a TPA letter which is most certainly a bonus for perceived value to many potential buyers if ever there is a chance of reselling on the market).

The second is from 1983.

Neither of these signatures...8 years apart....look quite like the one you have a scan of.  These are much more fluid and natural looking (and illegible).

They both bode well.

However, sit down contract sigs are a very different animal.

"...These are much more fluid and natural looking..."

They should be, and more complete as well. It is a more relaxed circumstance.

Thanks again Eddy!
