Hey everyone!
I am new here. Not new to collecting but starting to take it VERY serious and trying to learn as much as possible!
I'm looking into these two autographs from Chuck Berry and Jerry Lee Lewis (pictured below.)
The Chuck Berry: 8x10 image
2 RED FLAGS: This seems to be a very tough signature.
This dearlers sharpie colors tend to be VERY convenient. (dark picures with light sharpies, light pictures with dark sharpies.)
The Jerry Lee Lewis: 8x10 image
RED FLAG: Seller has 3 of these in stock. I just don't see the Killer sitting there railing off a bunch of Autographs for someone to sell.
I would appreciate as much feedback as possible!
Thanks & Happy Collecting,
Joey

A selfie would be great. I laughed when I read that.
I would like to get a statement from someone at the address confirming JLL is actually signing these. That is no guarantee but would make me feel better.
Or, I would offer to drive down to his house and watch him sign a few things. I'd love to spend a couple hours with him. It is quite far fetched but I would do it. I haven't been to Mississippi in many years.
Interesting! I went to his Miss. house in 1996, took a tour, saw the piano he recorded those great Sun songs with, his gold records, his piano shaped pool, etc. Then we heard footstpes upstairs. The tour guide told us it was JLL and he had just gotten up (around 11 AM) and if we got lucky he may come down and say hello. I wanted to hang all day, but my wife & friends wanted to get back to Memphis. I always wondered if he would have come down. Anyone know if the tours are still going on there?
I read the tours have been stopped. I bet that was a great experience.
Mine came back today, inscribed as requested. I will post images this evening when I am at my home computer.
Ok cool.. You going to try and get Rogers opinion on it?
Mark
Good news for me/us. I just compared the million dollar quartet image I received today with the following listed at the Iconic Auctions site. It is a great match. Someone could post a picture here for comparison if they have the time.
It is Lot #81: The Million Dollar Quartet: Amazing Signed 11" x 14" Photo w/Cash, Perkins & Lewis - PSA/DNA Graded GEM MINT 10!
BTW, there are some great items for auction there and it ends tonight.
The one thing I do not like about your check is look at the signature of Judith A. Lewis. Its has the SAME J as in Jerry and look at her L in lewis. Its the same as the Lewis in Jerrys name. I HOPE this does not mean SHE is the one doing the signing. Roger said it looked like a woman's signature.
Would LOVE to hear Rogers take on it……..
Please post up your photo that you got today Chad when you have time.
thanks
Mark
Ok, my 'cheap' album came back today. One red flag - only 8 days for an icon like JLL? I guess thats possible. It looks like all the other recent TTMs but also looks like the in-person Mean Old Man CD insert, if indeed that was obtained in person. Three things deifferent, 1) he added God Bless You (I did not ask for it) . 2) it is signed in silver like the Mean Old Man. So now we have to find maybe another autograph signed God Bless You and compare it. 3) Return address was PO Box 384!. At this point, I would not send anything rare until this is resolved. Mark brought up a very good point about Judith!
Not to confuse this issue anymore, but worth noting. About 10 years ago (or more?) Jerry offered signed photos through his official website for 25.00. I ordered one, and it is more in line with the in-person signatures I obtained than the recent 50.00 TTMs. The website no longer mentions autographs for sale. Just thought you should see the difference. I really dont know what to think of this situation .
