Hi Vinny,

I could be wrong here as im not an authenticator by any means but i feel very confident that the clapton sig is bad. It could be a very rushed sig but my honest opinion is that its the worst attempt ive ever seen. lol. But def wait and see what others have to say.

Thanks, I have my doubts so it sits in a closet. If I get enough negative feedback I'll probably trash it so it's not out there for anyone else. As an aside: I had a Stevie Ray Vaughn signed album years ago that was a scribble. He signed it for a friend of mine at 3am stumbling out of a cab in midtown NY. LOL

I don't have any story to trust this program.

Just wanted to let you know im sorry you got burned on this piece. I def didnt mean to be insulting at all by stating it was really bad in my opinion. I am by no means an expert. And if you wanna see laughably bad, you should see a Beatles signed poster i bought when i started collecting. I can promise you, that you will probably never see a more horrible paul and john autograph in your life. It really is laughable and the worst autograph attempt ive ever seen. lol. I just had no idea what i was purchasing. If your in the market for a good clapton i might be able to help you out. Their is a guy on startiger.com who has some connection to clapton. I dont know what it is, but he has a large collection of his sigs and their legit. i traded him a tony bennett and a Monky (from korn) autograph for a 8 by 10 clapton that was inscribed to another person. I didnt care though, i just wanted a clapton. I then sent it to psa and it passed. And i know he has lots more. So if you have some music autos you might want to trade for a clapton let me know and ill get you this guys email if i can and maybe you can set up a good deal. Just let me know

Thanks and don't think twice about feeling bad. I honestly appreciate the discussion and understand how wacky this hobby/business can be. I'm not sure what I would have to trade but I'd appreciate the Clapton guy's email. Funny thing is that I get a lot of people telling me I look like him. I think we have the same fat head. LOL

Chis is right, the Clapton is bad.  I'd bet the farm on it.

Vinnie, sorry, but that Clapton isn't genuine.

Authentication for modern music, either PSA/DNA, JSA or Roger Epperson. Roger is a specialist in modern music, and widely considered the best.

I appreciate the feedback. Been into autos since the early 80s so nothing surprises me. Wouldn't have posted it if I knew it was real. Just need some support before trashing it. Can't stand to see things get reprocessed and end up on ebay, etc.
