Looks like everyone is calling it a secretarial
I would tend to believe those who say this.
For me, I'm seeing a mix but that "E" is really out in left field. So I'm giving it a question mark because of the "d"
Michael
If you look again at your link, you'll see the OP Eastwood resembles the authentic radio sig over the secretarial
The answer is in the "d"
A secretarial "d" looks more like a "y" while authentic looks like a proper "d"
The OP sig is almost half and half... but to me it's more authentic style
Which is why I'm not sure
Good point and nearly a perfect match.
That example might have just swayed my opinion.
NO I would not buy it
That one looks good
I do want to make a correction to the signing date of the Eastwood I posted. I checked my records and the signature was signed in the mid 1990's in NYC. Not late 80's. Sorry, it's been awhile since I discovered it again in my storage box! Thanks for you input, Terrier!
This one is not legible, is condensed, not wide open :) Nice :)
I understand where you are coming from, Michael. It does display a neater appearance than the usual Eastwood rushed in person signature. Guess that's why I get mixed opinions on this one. Although, I do believe it was signed by him. I do appreciate your input. I didn't get this in person so opinions matter. The more eyes the better.
