Hello Luke,
No matter how I slice it my answer has to be David Bowie. This started with his untimely and unfortunate death in January. I showed my prized 1976 (the year of The Man Who Fell to Earth) signed index card purchased about 12 years ago for a good price - and it was said by several to be secretarial. One very astute gentleman here, Pete Chuka, suggested keeping it - agreeing that certain loops and the overall "flavor" were promising. I then set out to find other like examples, and after a time and some help from one who knows, I ultimately proved the thing genuine. To top this off, I found the original still for very little, and the equally vintage same size Rip Torn for $1(!) to counteract the stress of this affair. All shown below in scale as I will frame them in the future. $136 all, so a good 2016 story in more ways then one. ;)

Thanks very much Paul. I am very proud of this little set. I have seen three dated 1975 sigs and 1 or 2 from 1976 - I have been told they are extremely rare. And, you know I think very highly of your opinion.
Happy Holidays!!!
Hi again Luke,
I meant to say your acquisitions are equally impressive. A beautiful and early quite clean Taylor and a very nice Ledger which I know you wanted very much. You did very well with selection, quality, contrast, placement and cost with both! :)
Happy Holidays!
Eric
