Well, this is not the exact calculation, as the correct one should be the profit per record they sell. And with 100$ price tag on a signed LP, the profit is already +70$ per record, so even if they sold 10%, they still got 7000$, which should be much more than their profit on selling 1000 records .

I also loved them (first records), and would have loved getting one, but not at that price. I accept that sometimes the signed edition is 10-20$ extra, and this is still fair, but once the artist thinks that the sun rise up.... I avoid him/her.

Bottom line, I do believe this is a lose/lose situation. they don't sell, and we miss their autograph.
And I did buy this from Discogs at some point after starting collecting. Was not 100$ !
