Here's me disagreeing with the TPA's again. Up for bid in the latest RR Auction is a signed Gilmour / Waters album. From what I've been told, the Gilmour alone sold on eBay 5-10 years ago for very cheap. And later Roger signed it. Wanted to let people know that in my opinion, there is nothing right with the Gilmour and unfortunately Roger had to sign a forgery.
Please AVOID if looking at this.

Here is one I own Seamus,I've been seeing that example for some time now and i agree the Gilmour does not look right at all.hope it doesn't go for to much.
Wow Seamus thats a nice one too for sure.I see what you mean.Im happy you brought this to our attention because everytime i looked at it, i scatched my head knowing something was off.
Agree. I've thought something wasn't right about this one. Now.....this is gonna sound weird, and I generally react negatively to comments like the one I'm about to make, but the problem I had with this is that the Gilmour is too small for the format. Every legit Gilmour I've seen is proportionate for the size and space around it. This looked miniature and just odd for that reason.
Structurally the whole thing is a mess. I'll show you the example which they tried to copy, unfortunately the only picture I saved is terrible resolution. Formation, sizing, and flow are all incorrect from a genuine example.
10-4. See it and agree.
impressive catch Seamus
now is there a way to convince RR auctions of this?
Hi Shawn, I have found that auction houses and dealers will usually take problematic items down if shown evidence/sometimes with a phone call. I have sent a link to this thread.
