Hi all excuse me for posting this already in the wrong forum. This is a copy of David Bowies Space Oddity LP,early 70s repress which I picke dup in a flea market a year or so ago.Written in the back in faint red ink is what appears to be a sig "Bowie".For anyone familiar with his autograph what are your thoughts on this.?IMAG0227.JPG

Dont know older style but this is nothing like his later style sigs. I doubt this is authentic.

Here's an older one that sold for $1400 bucks last year

I do see positive aspects on the original sig with this one.

the signature from Bruce Juice's photo and yours posted indeed have similarities. this thread has inspired me to ask the forum about my own Bowie autograph.

Really want for it to be real.At the time I bought it I diden't really take too much notice I thought a previous owner had scribbled their name on it which you get with a lot of old vinyl records. It was only when I got it home and had a closer look that I realised what it was.Funnily enough the guy I bought it off when I mentioned it too him next seemed to think it was printed, but its definetly not.He said he got it in a cash converter shop in London in the late 90s.

Hello,

I think this (the OP in red) has a good shot. C. 1974 or so.
