George Michael was always one of my 80s favorites. I don't know if he was an icon, but if not, he was not far off. He was at the very least a mega superstar. There were times in the 80s when he outsold Michael Jackson, Prince, and Madonna. He sold more than 110 million albums worldwide, and he had at least 10 number 1 hits, which is a good amount. He was said to be a kind, generous person, and I believe he rarely turned down in-person requests. But I don't see that many authenticated items on eBay. And RR Auction past results only showed a couple. People are now asking around $1500 for a PSA signed album. But there's really not that much available right now. I'm sure the forgers are honing their craft.

So where are all the George Michael autographs?

#1 it is more attractive to buyers to purchase a nice genuine item frameless b/c they are free to do what they want with it

#2 usually custom framing becomes a personal taste of the collector. Sometimes the photo and signature look beautiful as it is, and some people come up with horrible mat colors, material or even props to enhance the signed item. C'mon you've never seen the fake cigars on those Scarface or Goodfellas photo frames? Lol
That's a very nice piece, Jorge. And it definitely looks authentic.

i have this guitar im selling got it in person

Very nice! How much are you asking?

2.500 including ship insurance in the usa

That is really nice, John. That appears to be a pretty large autograph...which is a good thing. I bet it really jumps out at you when you see it in person.

thanks

he always had a big sig,it was signed at lowell hotel in nyc.

he just didnt like crowds but one  on one or small groups he would sign or take a photo with.

I purchased a GM autograph (and it does look genuine, I've seen numerous forgeries) with PSA/DNA certification a few weeks before he passed. It's probably worth 3x what I paid now.

And really his autograph is not that difficult to figure out. He was obviously left-handed and his signature always slanted to the right (like the photo in the red guitar above). Most forgeries did overlook this detail of his and the signatures are forged by a right-handed individual not knowing it's an easy red-flag.
