I have read a few accounts of people buying items that have been authenticated by another lesser company like Gridiron Authentics, Online Authentics, GAI, and Scoreboard and submitted them to JSA who have rejected them. The people then tried to resubmit them to PSA/DNA who passed the item.
Its being rumored that JSA will reject any item that has a CoA from another company. I have a few items from other companies that I want authenticated but not sure if I should submit them to JSA or PSA/DNA. The benefit of JSA for me is that the company is literally 2 miles from my home and I could drive there and back and not worry about any shipping charges and packing.

Unless I'm missing something, Scoreboard was actually a solid company. The major concern has been how easy they are to forge and copy or just put alongside a forgery (i.e. no matching sticker or hologram). I don't think a Scoreboard certificate itself represents a stigma of any sort though.
Well I guess I meant to say how do they react to seeing an item with a sticker/hologram from another company? In particular a less reputable company like GAI and even Online Authentics?
I think there is some evidence of them demonstrating a clear bias based on other certifications (i.e. failing items on the basis of a Morales certificate, etc). GAI holograms alone may prompt a negative response, but I can't be 100% certain.
I think that PSA and JSA are pretty good when it comes to sports autographs, and when they get something in even if it has another sticker on it. They look at the autograph itself. Not the sticker.
My problem is that I have a few Autographs that Holograms on them from other services. I wanted to get something more reputable on them. I looked at a lot of signatures and I think they are 100% legit but I don't want to have to spend the JSA fee if they should fail. I don't know if I should attempt to return these items or submit them to JSA.
post them here. I`m sure people on here would help you. At least give you some ideas on whether to even send them in or not.
I have but they haven't had too many responses. I'll try bumping them but I don't want to flood the forums and be annoying.
In my experience, the other COA has no bearing on the JSA opinion. I have reviewed space items for JSA that had GAI stickers. Some passed, some failed. The determination was based on the autograph, not the previous COA.

I haven't seen the items you have posted, but I would be curious as to which authentication services were involved with the signatures in question. Most of folks on here could give you a pretty decent estimate of authenticity from that. Personally, I have had items from Scoreboard authenticated and rejected from JSA (and PSA/DNA). I don't think another hologram is grounds for automatic rejection.

Bear in mind, Scoreboard COAs have been totally compromised with counterfeits. While real Scoreboard items are undoubtedly authentic, the fakes with fake Scoreboard certs are not. Are you certain the items you submitted were legit Scoreboard items?
Actually, one that I submitted to both JSA and PSA was one I did not think was real. It was flunked by both companies.
