I am thinking about buying this autograph but I just want to make sure first that it is genuine. Attached are photos of the autograph and information the seller has put.

Eric Longo, a member here, is very good on Bowie signatures. Hopefully he will see this or you may want to try to contact him. The signature looks very smooth to me. That raises doubts in my mind although I know little to nothing about his signing habits.

I will write to Eric Joe, he's a friend on here with me.

Thanks for writing to Eric, I shall wait for his input.
I'd give it a miss. This isn't the 1st Bowie this seller has sold and consensus seems his past sigs haven't been genuine

Not for me.The eBay seller Tim mentions - same folks it seems. Same sig it appears. There is a reason his signed albums keep closing for so little. The second signed "Tonight" (yes, second, in gold - that handwriting was a problem) - both brought under $ 200 LOL. This photo is a better attempt at this website, a little, still so smooth and with some meaningless strokes. Angle still not right IMO. Very decent forgery, compared to others. The website linked or listed - I read all the terms and the word or concept of "authenticity" doesn't even get used once. Amazing! And this photo (93 or 95 version) - it is almost ideal - why only $975?

Eric

Edit/repost for clarity/spelling.

Damn! Oh well I was hoping it would be real but oh well
