I agree with you, Joe. It's good. This is another one that eBay removed the other day as "questionable authenticity". Thanks for chiming in.

I don’t know Dolly Partin’s autograph, but I’m guessing it’s probably authentic.  It’s so hard to tell what motivates ebay.  The only time I reported a seller was when I bought from a seller who was selling copies as authentic items.  And what did ebay do about it?  They finally closed the guy’s account, but it took ebay about four more months to finally shut his account down even though I gave them proof of what he was doing.  Ebay was too worried about their money.  But you know what?  The guy simply opened up another account with eBay and started doing the same thing!  So I contacted ebay and pointed this out to them...and he still kept operating!  I think they did eventually close him out again, but it was ridiculous!  

So I can truly appreciate why you feel targeted when there are fake autographs being sold by the thousands and eBay does nothing but focus attention on a legitimate seller like you.  It’s like they say...hey we’ll pull a few from this guy so we can give the appearance that we’re doing something to protect our buyers.  It’s really pathetic.

The Bay pulled six in one shot although not a one, in my or any other opinion(so far), are questionable or obvious fakes. This particular Parton was signed in 1986 and, actually, prints of this drawing were made and signed by Dolly for a special charity auction. This is the original drawing. Purchased from the estate of a Dollywood Exec.

Sorry, I'm still fuming a bit. Know there isn't a darn thing I can do about it. But, it does cause me to step back a try to figure out what is going on. I understand that some good autographs would take a hit if eBay would get serious about their forgery issues but I haven't seen any evidence they are nailing the bad guys yet with any gusto.
