Why are you wondering what it might be worth?  Are you interested in selling it?  Please post an image of what you are referring to.  Ryan is the Don Mattingly expert here.  I will contact him in the meantime.

Here’s a picture. I would be interested in selling

I see six signatures, not seven.  Why did he sign the log six times?  Are you certain that it was signed in 1988?

I have his rookie autograph.

I believe that his “D” became less rounded in the late 1980s and early 1990s.  That is why I asked the question.  Very nice, John.

Ryan replied to my questions privately.  He said that Don Mattingly sometimes practices his signature before signing items to test the pen, and that the item could sell for anywhere between $50-200 without an LOA.  He also said that the signatures are typical for that time period.  Best of luck, Carl.

Thank you Mike I appreciate your help. Do you know how I obtain an LOA?

Yes.  You can send it to BAS, JSA or PSA.  You can ask in a separate discussion for opinions regarding which company to use.  They are all good.  When you decide which company you will be using, call to ask if they can offer a discounted rate, since the piece contains six of the same autograph.  It is very unusual, and they may be willing to give you a discount.  Otherwise, the cost will be rather high.

this is not a high demand autograph. the cost of authentication may exceed the market value of the item
