I would never touch any of this stuff for any reason, even with someone else's 10 foot pole.
Looks like the OP to me,
This also looks secretarial IMO. PSA has authenticated a lot of this style that I & others believe is secretarial. Unless there is something they know that we don't, this particular style has different traits than most of his known authentic signatures.
Agree, Taylor 116.
As I said an earlier post, I'm not an expert by any means, but I would imagine a TPA might pass this one as well.
I agree with you however. Secretarial of the period.
+1 Hi Eddy
That last one is currently listed on eBay with a PSA certification. It does make one wonder what it is about this that makes it authentic, in their opinion.
They have passed known secretarials, preprint/facsimiles and forgeries so it means nothing to me. Their Facts pages suffer from the same problems. I removed the secretarials and forgeries of secretarials from the Gleason =Facts page, "The Honeymooners" Facts page contains more forgeries and secretarials then authentic Gleason sigs. I aim to fix that.
"Papers" don't make something authentic.
I’m honestly not surprised PSA has fake Gleason's on their facts page. PSA currently has an autopen Reagan signature on their facts page. Although I've never bothered to try to get it removed.
I'd like to revisit the discussion regarding the original poster's "Trump style" signature. I'm keen to understand the rationale behind classifying this particular style as "secretarial" within the group. Could you please elaborate on the evidence or reasoning that supports this characterization? I'm genuinely interested in the insights and perspectives on this matter.
