Early Beatles Set - Did John Sign On George's Behalf?

Here's a set of Beatles autographs that just appeared on eBay. I believe that the John, Paul and Pete autographs are authentic. According to the description, the card has also been signed by George. However, it appears to me as though John has signed on George's behalf. What do you think?

I actually looked at the E's in George. John very often leaves a dot at the top of his E's in early letters etc. A dot is present in the top of the E's in George and the E in Lennon on your discussion set. Just an observation.
