eBay affiliation?

Just noticed the banner saying Autograph Live is an eBay affiliate. What does that mean?

I wondered this too, I just noticed it and haven't before. I believe they get a percentage of a sale if for example, an eBay link was posted here, some member of Autographlive clicks on that link and they purchase the product. AutographLive would get some money for it I think.

Were you to believe the hype on social media platforms such as Instagram, it's a no-brainer source of income for anybody - i.e. anyone can do it and with any major e-commerce site you care to mention.

I am instinctively cynical but I must admit that I have been thinking of giving it a try myself.
