A lot of sports autographs are so simplistic and sloppy that you really do have to rely on the source and authentication (or getting it yourself) to feel good about it.

Some moron paid $175.00 for this Barack Obama forgery from Ebay seller scooba55steve.

You gotta be kidding me!!!   That's why the scammers on Ebay flourish.  The buyers of forgeries like this keep the scammers in business.

The scammers always use cheap baseballs for their forgeries. 

Who would want a legit Barack Obama autograph on a cheap baseball!!!!

The buyer who won that auction (Barack Obama forgery) not only now owns a forgery, but now owns a forgery on a cheap baseball.
