Knowing how heavily-populated Ebay is with wannabe autograph collectors, suckers and impulse buyers, it doesn't surprise me that the below obvious and laughable Babe Ruth forgery on a baseball sold for $1,050.00.
The below laughable Babe Ruth forgery on a baseball was sold by Ebay seller Ronfilardi for $1,050.00.
The below Babe Ruth forgery was purchased by either a wannabe autograph collector, sucker, impulse buyer, or by a scammer who intends on flipping elsewhere.
This is why sellers of forgeries list their crap on Ebay; they know it will sell.
And Ebay, of course, as they have for the past twenty years, continues to profit from the sales of forgeries.
Ebay seller Ronfilardi wrote "I have not authenticated the ball, but I have no reason to doubt its authenticity."
Seriously?
Looks like a Ruth forgery that we see on Coach's Corner Auctions every month.
I hope the buyer of this crap submits it to PSA or JSA; it will be deemed a forgery in a millisecond.
