Knowing how heavily-populated Ebay is with wannabe autograph collectors, suckers and impulse buyers, it doesn't surprise me that the below obvious and laughable Babe Ruth forgery on a baseball sold for $1,050.00.

The below laughable Babe Ruth forgery on a baseball was sold by Ebay seller Ronfilardi for $1,050.00.

The below Babe Ruth forgery was purchased by either a  wannabe autograph collector, sucker, impulse buyer, or by a scammer who intends on flipping elsewhere.

This is why sellers of forgeries list their crap on Ebay; they know it will sell.

And Ebay, of course, as they have for the past twenty years, continues to profit from the sales of forgeries.

Ebay seller Ronfilardi wrote "I have not authenticated the ball, but I have no reason to doubt its authenticity."

Seriously?

Looks like a Ruth forgery that we see on Coach's Corner Auctions every month.

I hope the buyer of this crap submits it to PSA or JSA; it will be deemed a forgery in a millisecond.

Here is that Babe Ruth forgery sold by Ebay seller Ronfilardi for $1,050.00.

Yeah, this one wasn't too hard. Well, it was for about a half doesn't not-too-sharp bidders.

Exactly, Rich.  Just an awful and obvious Babe Ruth forgery.

what a great system.  some idiot finds a ball in his garage, decides to sign Babe Ruth's name on it, and someone makes a cool grand out of it.   unbelievable.

Terrier, that about sums it up, and some wannabe autograph collectors bid on that piece-of-crap Babe Ruth forgery.
