The below forged Mickey Mantle baseball was listed and sold by Ebay seller sf_giantsfan25 for $399.99.

If that was an authentic autographed Mickey Mantle baseball with the inscription "NO 7" on a Budig baseball, it would have easily sold for over $2,000 and collectors of authentic autographs would have bid this up to at least $2,000 or more.

I know two dozen collectors, and myself, who would have bid on it if it was authentic.

But because Ebay is heavily-populated with delusional autograph collectors and impulse buyers, crap like this will continue to sell as it has for the last twenty years on Ebay.

Not only is this horrid, but laughable.
