We've posted a few of these here on AML and here's another one we found on EBay.
Ebay seller Tehcollectibles is selling the below facsimile set of signature as a hand-signed and original set of NY Yankees autographs.
First, a photo of the baseball. This is a souvenir baseball with facsimile signatures.

Ebay seller Tehcollectbles writes "28 Signatures From The 2006 World Series Champion New York Yankees."
Really?
The St. Louis Cardinals won the 2006 World Series.
The Derek Jeter "signature" on the above souvenir baseball is a 1995-1996 circa "signature."
I recently posted (link below) where an Ebay sucker and wannabe autograph collector spent $241.35 for a set of NY Yankees facsimile signatures.

Ebay seller Tehcollectibles also claims he emailed photos of the baseball to an "expert(?)" and the "expert" wrote "My thoughts and impressions of the baseball are "It looks like it was signed with a sharpie and not an ink-pen; smudges don't help the value. The signatures look like the real thing but without a live ink test, it's hard to tell for sure."
Now you know why, and we've been saying this for years, this is why sellers of items like this list them on EBay. They know there are thousands of suckers on Ebay who buy crap like this based on a bogus story.
It's a souvenir baseball with facsimile signatures, Ebay seller Tehcollectibles!!!
Ebay seller Tehcollectibles also writes "The ball was hand-signed by the team who knows somebody in the Yankee organization.
Freaking hilarious!!!
Ebay seller Tehcollectibles describes the below as "smudging."
Seriously?
