That line is one of my biggest irritations about eBay.   I bought a signed television contract from a good seller received it fine, nothing was wrong with it, and I am very happy.  Problem is I like to make copies of all the original listings of things that I buy on there.  So granted I waited about a week (no more than that and certainly within the 90 period that eBay CLAIMS they keep things) well low and behold I get that stupid no longer registered line.  I cannot see my original listing because apparently eBay got rid of it.  eBay should have that original listing on for at least 90 days regardless if the seller is no longer registered.   Now in my case this was a vintage signed contract and I have no problems with it but I still like to have the original listing with the description etc. in the words of the original seller.  I also firmly believe this wiping of listings would certainly help a shady seller since less proof is available.  I am not a typical I hate eBay kind of guy I have gotten some very great deals and wonderful signed checks, documents and photographs that I would not have otherwise, however eBay clearly seems to have no concern for buyers.  Perhaps that is my irritation with them talking but any time I have contacted eBay you get the feeling you are dirt under their feet.

One week and they do not have it? How can that be? Did they tell you why? It should be in their system regardless of the person no longer having an account. Did they ban him or did the scammer leave on his own?

No eBay tells nothing.  I should say that the seller was a very good seller and I was very happy with my purchase.  I was just irritated because I like a copy of the original listing. All you get is that this listing is no longer available.   It is just one of my peeves with eBay.  I am not sure why the seller left but they ,sold contracts, checks, early vintage stuff.  I never saw anything suspicious so suspect they left on their own.  I will from now on try to print off the listing at the time I get it.  Thanks for the response.

Had the same thing where sellers disappear and you cannot see anything even from a week ago. eBay sadly do not care. I doubt it will work but if you post the reference into Google it may bring the listing up or go through your Internet history

Hey Dan thanks so much that worked at first it showed the closed listing but I clicked on "cached" and the old page came up.  I never tried that before.  Appreciate it.

Give Dan's suggestions a try.  I was going to suggest the same things.
