I hope you enjoy it. Click for larger image. They are shown in the order they were signed. Carefully collected - all my favorite artists and images. Thom Yorke of Radiohead, Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins, David Bowie, David Gilmour, Kraftwerk and Roger Waters. Started and ended with IP. I am finished with this area. Now on to Vintage Theater & Hollywood!

Hi Eric,

A most desirable collection of memorabilia!

How long did it take to collect and compile this if you don't mind me asking?

Mark

Hi Mark,

24 years with several upgrades. Glad you like it! :)

They all have the appropriate tickets - shows or filmed concerts. Other things as well.

What Hollywood are you after?

Oh, I think have most of what I want from Lillian Gish to Lugosi to Vivien Leigh, Crawford, Davis, Bankhead, both Huston's, Swanson, Garland, Welles, Mason, Eddie G. Robinson, Costello/Abbott, Perkins, Sellers and more. 2 Burton's (1948 & Spy) etc.. Joseph Cotten, Oskar Werner...I just have to scan and organize them all. Vintage Honeymooners complete cast, Star Trek all 8 all vintage....admittedly, this veers off Classic...Night Stalker (McGavin 1972 contract and Oakland SP)...some are guilty pleasures like Vincent Price and John Agar vintage Mole People, vintage Body Snatchers etc. ;)

Mark - here is one favorite:

"

Gloria Swanson matte finish gelatin silver double weight 8x10 signed portrait with photographers embossed stamp lower right, dedicated and inscribed in blue fountain pen "To Dominick from Gloria Swanson, "Sunset Boulevard", 1949", which is well before the film was even finished being written. It was finally finished in January 1950 with major re-shoots needed - the original introduction began in a darkened morgue with Bill Holden's glowing drowned corpse under a sheet talking to a dead little drowned boy under a sheet and it freaked audiences out. At best some thought it was comedy. It was eventually released several months later in a very altered form with a new intro and ending. I have a copyrighted 1949 production still showing the original unused bedroom ending scene  (she looked TOO crazy so they wanted a reshoot if you can imagine that!) which I will pair with this. What better example of an inscription giving a context - date and time and sometimes location? This pretty much IS "10086 Sunset Boulevard!" Really a two for one, as it is the films title as well ;)

Note - the scan is looking a little light to me, at least on my laptop.."

Great collection, legendary artists and pioneers.

Thanks Bjorn :)

Very nice collection, Eric! Thanks for sharing it.

Thank you Mark! From you it is a great compliment!

The best thing about this is...you're done with that area. I love it!!! I'd love it with, rock autographs, I could say that. But there's just too many bands/singers I love ,that I could never get to that point!!! Nice collection.

Thanks Josh! :) Most appreciated.
