Eddie Vedder - Signed Photographic Print via Teenage Cancer Trust (£395)
Eddie Vedder Wrigley Field 2016 Signed Photographic Print - Teenage...
Nice find! Those went quick, but nice price for Eddie. Regret missing them!
Showing back as available - worth checking back on Teenage Cancer Trust shop as stock can be locked up for a while if they are left in basket
Same for me. Tried again, let me add to cart but no go on checkout, but I'll keep trying. Maybe Ill get lucky.
Artist proof came available so took one. Pricier but been wanting Eddie for many years and for a good cause.
The price went up from $600 when I looked earlier to over $800 now. The pen or whatever they are using to have him sign that is absolutely awful. You can't really see it and it's a small autograph and that's before it's shipped. The people who work with the signers have gotten terrible at doing these things from the autopens to whatever they thought they were doing using that pen on this print.
It's probably signed with a pencil. Signing with graphite is standard tradition for art prints.
Pencil writing is more stable and lasts longer than ink:
• Pencil (Graphite): Graphite is chemically stable, carbon-based, and resistant to light and fading. Pencil notes can easily last 100+ years (often outlasting the paper itself) as long as they are not physically erased or rubbed off.
• Ink Pen: Standard dye-based pen inks can fade, shift color, or degrade when exposed to light, heat, or moisture over a period of 5 to 50 years. (Note: Archival pigment- or carbon-based inks can last a long time, but general ballpoint and gel inks fade faster than graphite)
