Hello all,

I would appreciate your opinions on this Elvis signature unfortunately it is very faded (originally it was in blue ballpoint pen!!) I hope it's visible, many thanks.

Hi Tracy, I hate to say it but that’s not real in my opinion.

Sorry but I agree.

Thanks Eric,

much appreciated/

Hello Steve,

Thank you very much for replying, I rarely buy autographs but unfortunately I did buy this one although it was some years ago now, it had all kinds of certificates with it and I believed them!

Best regards

Tracy.

Hi Tracy,

I'm so sorry to hear that. Where did you buy it? Do you still have the certificates? If they're still in business sometimes you can get a refund. It's not easy but it does happen.

Hi Steve

Yes I do still have them, it originally came from San Francisco but I was not the original buyer, I bought it from somebody in the U.K. (named on the bill of sale) there is more!!

You're in a tough spot here, Tracy. If you bought it from a business owner in the UK you may have a chance of a refund. I'm not sure of the laws in the UK but as far as I know they're stricter than ours.

The person who retailed it in the first place bought 4 signed Elvis albums, 3 signed Elvis photos, and one signed Elvis magazine for $2,000. Even back then they were worth many times that price.

What did you pay?

Thanks Steve, bearing in mind it was actually faded by the time I bought it, I think it was 2009 I paid about $400.00 (which I obviously thought even if faded it sounds real!) I will just have to put it down to experience, I should have sent it back anyway because the seller didn't mention that it was that badly faded anyway!! In the certs it appears nice and blue!

I appreciate your help immensely, thank you

Tracy.

You're welcome Tracy. I just wish we had better news. $400 isn't so bad of a loss at least. You've got a good attitude about it.

+1 Yes, it could have been so much worse! Good attitude indeed :)

Thank you also Eric.
