There is a listing currently on eBay featuring an Elvis autograph that the seller says he acquired years ago  from current Autograph Live member Steve Viola. I had a good look at the item and I'd like others to take a moment and do likewise.

The eBay heading is as follows...Elvis Presley Signed Autographed 11 x 14 Display..... As of this posting there are 4 days left to bid. Asking price is 25 hundred dollars.

If any of my fellow members want to post the link as a favor to me that would be appreciated !!  I'm looking for your thoughts and your feedback on that item.

My thanks...

Post a link to the listing. Steve Viola is a great guy. People can disagree though.

I don't have the expertise Steve to do that...

And I agree Steve V.  IS  a good guy.

I've purchased an item off him many years ago.

No issues with me...

Just copy the link and paste it into a reply. I couldn't find it.

There is an Elvis at rr.

Thanks very much Joe.

Just looking for comment from members here about the Elvis autograph...

And while we're here has anyone heard of Joe Longs "Rock-O-Graphs" ??

Is Joe Long still in business ??

Don, I agree, I'm concerned about that Elvis. It doesn't look right to me. I wouldn't consider it without Roger's OK.

Steve Viola bought this from Joe Long in 1986, according to the LOA, who unfortunately was identified as a source of forgeries years ago.

The beatles joe long,right?

Yes I've seen all that Steve. That's why I posted this to see if something can be done for the poor eBay seller from  Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada.

I think we've got a real stinker here...

So often we see a seller with bogus Elvis trying to make a quick buck. I don't think that's the case here.

This poor bugger has believed all these years that he was the proud owner of a nice Elvis signature. And I don't think that's the case.

Anyone have any ideas what  can and should be done  for this poor chap before this item goes back into the market place ???

Is there anyone who might step forward and make this situation right ??

Anyone ??

I messaged Steve on Facebook, which he'll probably see before a message here. I'll send him a message thru here tho.

Are you sure it's his eBay account? I see that the LOA is written to Steve, but it's from 1986. I don't know if he owns that Elvis today.

Yes that was mine.  I bought a few things from Joe Long in the late 80's and sold them when I either got the autograph in person myself (like Bowie) or got an autograph on someone on an item I was happier with (like Elvis).  I had no idea who Joe Long was and trusted him at the time.  He had a huge catalog of autographs, mostly Beatles.

Obviously Steve when you bought it you believed it be real.

Do you fell the same way today??
