I’m going to say no good. It doesn’t look like a 70s example for one. #2. Typically the “L” in Elvis is always taller than the E. #3. The “E” is curled too much. The “v” looks too sharp as well. Send it for $15 quick opinion to Roger Epperson at www.signedsealeddel.com he’s the Elvis expert.

Appreciate your input. It can be very frustrating trying to dissect someone's handwriting expecting every nuance of a letter or character to be similar under different signing situations...I will see about the referral you gave. Thank you again!

Agreed, but there are always similiar patterns one can look at for tells. Roger Epperson is known world-wide regarding Elvis, and if he would come back as authentic, you could use that email in helping to sell if it is legitimate. Good Luck and keep us posted if you send him a scan of it for review.

I agree with Joe.  Seek out Epperson

May do that.. Thank you!

One can't say because you pulled the image. Not helpful.

I don‘t think that this is real. But let‘s see what Roger Epperson will say. Good Luck.

I'm in the "not real" camp.

Thanks to all who replied and opined. I also got word back from another as autograph dealer that they as well agree with several inconsistencies. Not good news for me of course but such as life in this crazy hobby of ours. I'll be deleting b this post and appreciate all your replies!

Hello Autograph Buff. Please leave the discussion open and replace the image as this is useful. Thank you.

Please leave this discussion open and replace the image - others haven't' even seen it and the thread makes so sense.

It is not a good idea to remove the images from a thread like this. All those folks who took time to render a free opinion based on their knowledge - you have rendered their kind opinions and observations worthless as no one can see what was being discussed. Other who might have had more to contribute are now deprived of that opportunity. This may impact the responses you might get in the future. Folks may not bother. I won't.
