Just saw someone's recent Elvis post and thought I would add mine to a discussion.  This came directly from Perry Cox, obviously, a highly reputable source.  A COA from Perry as well.  I've always felt the signature (on a 5 x 7 magazine page) was a little too shaky, with stops-and-starts and it concerned me at the time. However, given Perry's confidence and assurance, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to purchase it. I remember that Perry had explained to me, at that time, that Elvis went through some periods of being in an "altered state" and that could possibly explain it's shakiness.  Just wanted to see if any of you with more experience than I in this area than I had any opinions on this. Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you...

True Eric, Sonny West, one of Elvis's Friends and Bodyguard used to sign the Checks.

Thanks Cory - thought I had heard that recently but could not recall where.

More of the six pages of that letter are available: https://www.google.com/search?q=elvis+letter+to+richard+nixon&s...

Goodcat i never say fake..  I say that i don't like it ... Elvis check is an elvis check! And always have a value of 5000$

No, you said:

”i didn't believe that the signature it were signed by him but maybe signed  by other people”

And if you didn’t belive it were signed by Elvis = you thought it were a fake...

My item had three coa ... But i don't like it... And a consola ok... But idin't like it and i sell it like the.other owners... Too much problems for all elvis signatures and i repeat all... Steve zarelli have written what i think too...

All check of elvis are fake in this way...

Now my opinion is law for elvis??

What is your opinion, independent of the others?

My opinion has always been confident in it’s authenticity...until everyone else here started raising doubts in my mind...lol. After consulting Rich and others, along with Perry’s response, I am back to very confident in it’s authenticity. Again, I still agree that it’s not the “prettiest”of signatures but still genuine.

"...I've always felt the signature (on a 5 x 7 magazine page) was a little too shaky, with stops-and-starts and it concerned me at the time. However, given Perry's confidence and assurance..." = Rfitzz

I asked because you stated straight away it has always bothered you, and I was wondering if your new level of assurance was based on the opinions of others or your own experience and knowledge. For me, if I can't see it and explain it myself, I won't buy it.

That's not how I interpreted your comment - sorry. In this case, perhaps see below. It will never get "more attractive". For me, I love unusual material, but not unusual signatures.
