I picked up this piece 25+ years ago, but honestly can’t remember where I got it or what I paid for it.  Back then there was a dealer around going by the name “Rockographs.”  Probably got it from them, but can’t remember for sure.  I seriously doubt it’s authenticity, but thought I would look for another opinion before I started using it as a coaster.  It is on  4X6 unlined index card.

What do you think?  Any and all opinions are greatly appreciated!  Thanks for your time...

Well group, I am shocked.  Enough of you mentioned I should have Roger Epperson take a look at this piece I did just that.  This is what Roger had to say: "This looks authentic in my opinion. Joe sold as much good stuff as he did fake, he mixed it all together.  Looks like a late 80's signature."

Thanks to everyone for the valuable knowledge and I am really glad I stuck with it.  Now, here is the next question.  Since it seems the piece is likely authentic, I want to go ahead and have it officially authenticated.  I honestly was not familiar with Roger Epperson before finding this forum.  After looking over his web site, it is obvious the man has quite the good reputation.  Would an authentication from Roger or from PSA or another service carry the most weight in the collectors world?

Thanks again for everyone's input!

Epperson.  Would not use PSA at all.

Roger is known worldwide for authenticating modern music and his nod that its good adds value to the piece, imo.

Thanks wascher!  That’s kinda what I was thinking, but you folks are much more knowledgeable than I, and I highly value this groups opinion.  Roger it is...
