Nested replies only go so deep, Eric. That's why you couldn't reply. Autographs are like a lot of other things: sometimes you don't know what you want until you see it.
For Nicholas:

Feathering is when there is insufficient sizing on the paper or index card (either from manufacture or age) and this makes the paper very absorbent and the ink can run along the paper fibers/spread out. When dim forgers use old paper torn from books and such and add ink signatures this feathering is often a reveal.
