Hi everyone.
Is it a real Frank Sinatra autograph?
Thanks!

That's good. I never have said a word about those signatures. Not sure why they are in a Frank Sinatra signature discussion anyway.
Could you show me a link where I discussed Martin and Lewis? I must be having a memory lapse.
It seems I must have. Thanks for the refresher. What's your point? You don't like my opinions on these Sinatra signatures. Not a problem. I won't bother responding to any more. My opinions won't buy you a cup of coffee anyway.
To date, I have responded 3,731 times to a discussion. I can't remember them all. I just try to help people who ask for an opinion if I can. Hopefully, a few have benefited by my humble efforts.
Hi Daniel, I agree with Joe's assessment. The flow in the first name isn't quite right, and the transition from the "F" to the "r" in "Frank" isn't quite right either. Also, the height of the letters looks off to me. Frank's letters, especially later in life, seemed to flatten out more and more until they barely lifted off the baseline.
Bargains in autographs are not the norm, and often do yield a surprise - just not the one you expected.
I was speaking here about bargain autographs.
A bargain would be buying a $400 autograph for $39. Often, there is a reason for the low price and it is seldom a good one.
Collect what you enjoy of course, but I don't think truly unique collectibles are on eBay for $45 or Best Offer. The last one up, Sinatra in October, sold for $9.55 Best Offer after starting at $59.99....that says a lot. How can this even be verified? I won't take a cert with a name and a photo - this? From what film? It may well be genuine but the value speaks to the demand.
"...You told me my autographs are fake because they cost me cheaper than the two of them sold for the double?..."
No, I never said that.
"...You know what inflation is? How's the art? Supply and demand...."
How's the art? Supply and demand? I know a little about that. I have been painting since the mid 1970's.
Who told you the Martin, Lewis, and Davis were fakes? Anyone? Perhaps we are having a language barrier? Perhaps this discussion has gotten off track?
Cards featuring snippets of clothing are not valuable. I'm sure there are collectors for such things but this site is interested in autographs.
"...I think you don't speak with grounds, because in the world of collectionism and art inflation among sellers does a great deal ago..."
Oh, I don't know. I am not reallysure what you are talking about but if we are going to talk about art I will show one of paintings. I did this "new" Monet haystacks when I was about 16, just learning...
