No, sorry.
The autograph comes from an RR auction from April 14, 2021. It is checked by Roger Epperson as well. I would say it is genuine. The photo is the same from the RR auction website, so maybe someone offers you this autograph as real but it is only a print from the RR auction picture... The item at RR sold for nearly $6k, so if someone offer you this one it should be for a higher price and if it is a lower one you should be very very very careful and avoid.
I thought it was a copy - the ink appears the same color as the image. I see now its not a b/w photo as the light tan area of missing emulsion at the top edge shows.
I wonder what Innuendo will say. Surprised at just the single bid.
I have checked several items on RR auctions website, but I think the single bid comes from their new website. All older items (before May/June this year) have only 1 bid. I think this is a mistake in their database from the relaunch of their website.
Correct. But whoever paid for it, overpaid by 5 grand. Nobody that overpaid that much is going to take a loss. If they're offering it under 6, it's probably a reprint. If they're offering it at or over 6 with the RR paperwork, don't touch it. It's a terrible deal, regardless.
This photo was originally an ad for the (very small) diamond pin he's wearing on his shirt via a German company in the mid 80s. His assistant discussed his process of payment: any diamond of his choosing. The photo being rare for extreme Fredheads may add some additional value, I'd push it up to 1.8 max, but that's really only for heavy Fred fans. Your average queen fan won't care about this vague ad he did as a one off thing.
